At the Swedish Migration Agency, we work with one of the major societal issues of our time – migration. We are a total of about 6,000 people here, and we have an unusually important job!
The systematic information quality work is a function whose mission is to ensure that the authority's information in the Central Alien Database (CUD) is correct. The function is located in the information management unit and consists of information care as well as information and data quality experts.
We are now looking for reinforcement in the form of more information and data quality experts.

What does an information and data quality expert do with us?
The mission is to identify and implement the measures required to improve information quality in CUD, together with colleagues and sometimes independently, ensuring that registrations in the database reflect the core of decisions made, the development of events in our cases, and enable statistical presentation.
This means you will work on various tasks:
- Lead and carry out larger correction work of incorrect information.
- Analyze root causes of error sources and propose measures for other parts of the authority.
- Participate in the development work of DUA from an information quality perspective.
- Identify and assist in producing information sets when other parts of the authority are working on correction work.
- Work on quality assurance of data sets when there is a need from other parts of DUA.
- Carry out corrections in complex cases as required.
- Contribute your expertise regarding information quality issues to various parts of the operations.
Who are you?
You are a good representative of the Swedish Migration Agency and DUA. You have a respectful and unpretentious approach and attitude both internally and externally. The role will place high demands on your analytical ability and your ability to see and structure complex contexts.
You plan, organize, and prioritize your work independently and effectively, setting and adhering to deadlines. Furthermore, you are meticulous and well aware of goals and quality, placing great importance on meeting these requirements. You actively participate in our improvement work and show commitment and flexibility towards our mission and your tasks.
You have good collaboration skills and value working in an environment where we work together to accomplish our tasks and missions. An important quality is the willingness and ability to share your expertise.
You who apply have:
- A university degree (at least 120 credits) in a relevant field or other education combined with work experience that the employer deems relevant for the position.
- Current experience in administrative legal case management.
- Many years of experience in case handling at the Swedish Migration Agency.
- In-depth knowledge of registrations in one or more of the following areas:
- Permit processes
- Residence permit decisions on various grounds and revocation of permits.
- Citizenship processes
- Compensations/benefits.
It is meritorious if you have:
- Knowledge of the connections between the Swedish Migration Agency's case handling and how it is expressed in the form of data/information in the Central Alien Database.
- Experience in troubleshooting registrations within case handling.
- Experience and interest in educating the organization in the area.
- Experience in identifying and formulating development needs within public operations.
Information
Work location: Norrköping, Malmö, Gothenburg, or Sundbyberg - travel in the service may occur.
Position: Permanent employment (a 6-month probationary period may apply).
Start date: By agreement.
Salary: We apply individual salary setting.
Working hours: Office hours with flexibility.
